▌ Linkage Between Our School's Departments and the Film Industry ▌
After renaming to University of Film and Arts, the existing departments are categorized into three major colleges based on their professional attributes: the College of Performing Arts, the College of Film and Television Design, and the College of Tourism Industry. By utilizing distinctive teaching techniques, the university connects film and television performance, design and creative industries, and tourism marketing, implementing a practical and professional approach to film and arts education. The development plans for each college are as follows: the College of Performing Arts is responsible for the core film and arts expertise, including film and television performance, stage drama, avant-garde dynamic arts, popular dance, popular music, film and arts styling, theater design (lighting, sound), screenwriting, directing, and planning. The College of Film and Television Design enhances the presentation effects of film and arts performances, including program recording (single-camera, multi-camera), stage multimedia production, film and television production, editing and post-production effects, art direction, set design, prop making, creative product production, visual design, and promotional materials production. The College of Tourism Industry focuses on marketing, including physical marketing of film and arts, online marketing of film and arts, destination film and arts recreation, dynamic film and arts tourism, and film and arts marketing app production. The organizational structure of the university's departments in the film industry is illustrated in Figure 1-1-1-6, which visualizes the university's educational goals: cultivating professional talent related to performing arts and its industry chain, with performing arts as the core.
Figure 1-1-1-6 also shows that all departments of the university can cooperate extensively to enhance the film and arts expertise and accelerate the demonstration of the university's achievements in this field. The credit programs of the university now cover all categories of film and arts expertise. Starting from the 106 academic year, cross-departmental elective courses and credit programs from other departments are available, providing students with numerous opportunities to engage with multiple specialties and enhance their cross-domain abilities, thus increasing their value in the job market. In addition, the university has many experienced industry instructors, a high proportion of practical experience teachers, well-established professional facilities, numerous performance and employment opportunities brought by senior instructors, and a teaching passion where students are guided through practical learning in a mentorship system. After years of preparation and accumulating extensive performance experience and awards, everything is now in place. Students just need to seize the opportunity to soar high and become shining stars in the entertainment industry.
